Fernando "Fred" Volpe Biography
A resident of Oneonta since 1983.
Born in Italy, immigrated to Canada with family in 1967.
Employed as a Licensed Mechanic in Canada.
Upon moving to Oneonta, joined the Oneonta Fire Department and was employed as an adjunct professor of Italian at the State University College at Oneonta. Additionally I was employeed by AAA as Master Instructor in the Driver Improvement Program for many years.
Served on the Town of Oneonta Planning board for over 13 years.
I am currently a Fire Commissioner for the Town of Oneonta.
Serve on various local boards including Foothills PAC, and The Y . I also am a proud member of the Free And Accepted Masons.
Becoming a real estate agent was a logical next step. I enjoy the outdoors and belong to the Oneonta Sportsmen's Club.
My wife, Ginger, and I own and operate a Quarter Horse Farm, where we raise, breed and train horses for ourselves and others. I am also the proud father of 3 boys and a girl.
