Getting Started in Real Estate
New Agent
| Requirements for Licensing are: |
|
1) |
be at least 18 years of age. |
|
2) |
be a citizen or be a legal permanent resident |
|
3) |
have no felony convictions |
|
4) |
complete the 45 hour Qualifying Course |
|
5) |
pass the NYS Department of State Salesperson licensing exam ($15) |
|
6) |
have a sponsoring New York State Broker |
|
7) |
pay license fee of $50 for 2 years |
- Successful completion of the 45 hour Qualifying Course Course requires at least 90% attendance and passing the school final exam.

- Law of Agency
- Real Estate Instruments
- Real Estate Financing
- Land Use Regulations
- Introduction to Construction
- Valuation
- Human Rights & Fair Housing
- Environmental Issues
- Real Estate Math
